CISSI 2016 | About
The 4th International Symposium on Information Systems Security (CISSI’2016) will be held during December 08-09-10, 2016, at National School of Applied Sciences, Ibn Tofail University, Kenitra, Morocco.
The main objective of the CISSI is to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to discuss and to present their latest research results and perspectives for future work in all information systems security aspects, especially in novel paradigms IoT, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Avionic embedded system, Wireless system,…
Following the great success of the four previous editions (CISSI’2012,CISSI’2013,CISSI’2014,CISSI’2015).
CISSI’2016 will focus on one of the most challenging topics the scientists community is facing “Avionic Systems security”. Today, these systems play an increasingly important and central role in modern aircraft, they have become more complex integrating many technologies and implemented on modern architecture supporting multiple functions to control air traffic or manage aircraft or share data. Indeed, the new generation of aircraft provides extended services in real time and requires more interaction within an open environment. So, they must face to new problems in terms of security and risks of computer attacks. As avionic systems involve human life, they have to use appropriate hardware, firmware and software mechanisms to ensure security and safety.
Edition 0 : March 2012, National School of Applied Sciences – Kenitra, it was mainly a day of awareness on the issues of information systems security. Organized in collaboration with the IT'6 company under the theme: governance and information systems security.
Edition 1 : 12-13-14 March 2013, has provided an ideal setting to gather a representative sample of stakeholders in the information systems security from different communities: industrial, research professors, PhD students, engineers, state officials and local authorities. It was the perfect opportunity to discuss the maturity of the security in public and private Moroccan organizations, but also to present the state of scientific research and the involvement of academia in this field. This edition was marked by high-level conferences, oral presentations, posters and quality training on sharp axes.
Edition 2 : 12-13-14 of March 2014, distinguished itself by choosing a new topic which is "IT security & forensic computing" and thus cover new security challenges. Several activities were planned: plenary lectures by researchers, experts and practitioners, presentation of scientific papers selected by the program committee and training in the field of computer security and computer forensics.
Edition 3 : 25-26-27 of March 2015, Focused on "Systems and Networks Mobile Security" to promote research and development in mobile technologies and security and to share views and experiences between both academia and industries.
